I really would like to know about global politics. But down here it doesn't get reported on the same way as American politics, or more accurately, it doesn't get the coverage that celebrities get. And it's annoying, especially when I hear trollish comments that 'Americans don't know foreign news'. Not our fault that it isn't reported, and it's not like Americans aren't curious about the world.

So I already got a large Canadian news site. And an American one. I've set them on my sidebar at the bottom.

Any recommendations for good news sites for the whole world?

They had pushed him to the side, downplayed his accomplishments and treated him like the dim younger brother who was just an annoying tag along. It was a shame, what he had to do, but they had it coming.

Author's Note: This ficlet has been on quite the journey. I originally wrote this as the first scene for a longer fic, from Sirius' POV. Then I realized it would work well from Peter's, so I rewrote it. I didn't know where to go with it from there, so it was pushed aside and had languished in my fic folder for years. The other day I took it out, dusted it off and realized it would make a fine ficlet in its own right. So, I polished it up, added a bit, ran it through the beta machine and here it is. I hope you like. :D
